These chrome plated tapered springs are the perfect solution to running a coil-over suspension on your Mustang II or earlier model GM muscle cars . They are 8" tall and feature a 2 1/2" i.d. bottom coil to fit most standard sized coil-over shocks like the PRO ASB/SR series. The spring tapers up to a larger i.d. to fit the stock upper spring pocket of the car. This tapered design allows for more spring travel and doesn't require upper spring pocket modification like you run into when using a standard coil-over type spring.
